HOLISTIQUS

Twisted Holography: A Holographic Stance on the Quantum Superposition of Spacetimes

About HOLISTIQUS

Project HOLISTIQUS explores the concept of spacetime in quantum superposition within the framework of holographic duality. In this approach, gravitational systems can be described through quantum field theory on their boundary, as formalized in the AdS/CFT correspondence. Certain quantum states of the boundary theory correspond to classical gravitational configurations described by general relativity. The project investigates how superpositions of such states may correspond to new, non-classical geometries beyond the scope of general relativity. Its goal is to provide a theoretical foundation for understanding these structures, drawing on ideas from quantum reference frames and noncommutative field theory.
